Knockout for iPhone

Privacy Policy

Effective October 21, 2026

Your camera stays private. Face tracking happens on your iPhone. Camera frames, images, and face measurements are never recorded, stored, or sent to a server.

Who provides the app

Knockout is provided by Usorokh Paius, Turan Ave., Astana Z05G9C4, Kazakhstan. Questions about privacy can be sent to paius.usoroh@gmail.com.

Camera and face tracking

Knockout asks for access to the front camera so it can estimate the horizontal position of your face during play. Apple’s Vision framework processes camera frames on the device. The app does not show a selfie feed, record video, save images, identify you, or transmit camera frames off the device.

You can revoke camera access at any time in iPhone Settings. The game cannot follow your movement while camera access is disabled.

Data stored on your iPhone

The app stores game progress, round records, continue credits, a random analytics identifier, and identifiers needed to avoid delivering the same StoreKit transaction twice. There is no account, and the random identifier is not linked to your name, email address, Apple Account, advertising identifier, or face.

Deleting Knockout deletes its local game data. Consumable purchases are not restorable after they have been used or after local app data is deleted.

Purchases

Optional continues are purchased through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment and may keep purchase information under Apple’s own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment card information, Apple Account details, name, or email address.

Anonymous game analytics

Knockout sends first-party gameplay analytics to our server so we can understand how many people play, which rounds they reach, when they leave, how difficulty changes, which retry offers they accept or decline, and whether an in-app purchase succeeds, is cancelled, remains pending, or fails. Events include a random app identifier, app version, App Store country, round and punch number, retry count, aggregate dodge and hit results, timing-derived difficulty settings, retry balances, product identifier, localized price text, and number of retries purchased.

Analytics never include camera frames, photos, face measurements, your name, email address, Apple Account, payment card details, precise location, contacts, advertising identifier, or free-form text. We use this data only for product analytics and keep event records for up to 13 months. You can stop analytics and delete queued events at any time in Knockout’s About screen.

Leaderboard

When you are knocked out, the app sends your round, punch, aggregate dodge result, retry count, difficulty level, random app identifier, and run identifier to the leaderboard. The server creates an automatic fighter alias; you do not provide a name. The leaderboard keeps your best score in an all-runs ranking and, when applicable, a no-retries ranking. Deleting the app removes the identifier from your device but does not automatically remove an existing leaderboard score. Email support to request removal.

Advertising and tracking

Knockout has no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking. We do not sell analytics or leaderboard data, share it with data brokers, or use it for advertising.

The website

This website has no account, cookies, advertising, or contact form. The same server receives app analytics and leaderboard requests. Its public website access log is disabled. If you email support, your email provider and ours process the message so we can reply.

Children

Knockout is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children or from any other user.

Data requests

You can disable analytics in the app. To request access to or deletion of analytics and leaderboard records, email paius.usoroh@gmail.com and include the fighter alias shown on your leaderboard. You can remove local data by deleting the app.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy answers will be updated before the changed version is released. The effective date above shows the latest revision.
